Politics: Trump now preferred over Biden?

According to the National Post, a poll now suggests Trump is more popular than Biden. Furthermore, Trump’s VP, Pence, is preferred by 55% of US voters polled compared to Biden’s VP, Kamala Harris. Moreover, Trump’s Secretary of State receives 63 percent preference when compared with Biden’s.

An observation might be that when a government and its policies are formed on the basis of being politically correct, it will easily to gain immediate support. However, truly tackling problems, even if done right, is messy, and those who support you for being politically correct will just as likely dessert you when they see a mess. Hence, it’s much easier to stay in power by doing nothing, if people voted you in for political correctness.
