Lifestyle: multi-blade razor heads: how long might they last?

Self-tutoring about shaving: the tutor wonders how long his current multi-blade head might last.

I use a manual, refillable razor with multi-blade disposable heads which some people might call cartridges. I shave once or twice a week. I live in two places right now, but I’ve been using this one most of the time since early September. It still rinses clean after every swipe.

I’ve looked up how long such a cartridge might last. Gillette, for example, suggests its Mach 3 cartridge lasts for 15 comfortable shaves. Moreover, according to themanual.com, several factors can influence how many shaves a blade will yield, such as how coarse your facial hair is, if you use shaving lubricant, etc.

I liberally use shave gel when shaving. Moreover, my beard has never grown in strongly. Perhaps those two factors will propel my razor blades to greater longevity?
