Politics, autos: higher parking rates for SUVs?
Self-tutoring about political trends: the tutor mentions a referendum in Paris.
An idea in Paris, but not only there, is to have higher parking rates for SUVs: in Paris, specifically, triple.
The vehicles targeted are personal ones over 1.6 tonnes, fuel-powered or hybrid, or over 2 tonnes, electric. Commercial and industrial vehicles would be exempt.
Such is my understanding, anyway.
The referendum is tomorrow.
