Cleaning: how I clean soffits
Self-tutoring about house cleaning tasks: the tutor mentions cleaning soffits.
The following is according to my understanding.
Over the summer, yard work and such can take precedence in the world of an academic, external cleaning included. Probably many of us have been cleaning the siding, for instance, then looked up and noticed the soffits. Once the siding is clean, dirty soffits can become annoyingly noticeable.
In my opinion, one doesn’t use a hose on soffits. The other day I sprayed some Spray Nine on a soft cloth, then started wiping the soffits. I was pleased. I’d apply some spray to the cloth, then wipe a small area, then repeat. After a few times doing so, I’d rinse the cloth in soapy water to remove the dirt from it, wring it out, then continue.
I think the soffits looked like new afterwards.
