Yesterday, cleaning my wife’s vehicle, it became obvious the job might be easier if I could remove the storage console that sits on the floor between the two front seats. Yet, was it meant to be removed easily, and how?

I’ve spent enough time with cars to know that there are clever ways things are put together. Understanding some of the theory behind it can make any disassembly or removal a lot easier. I’m not to the point where my experience can guide me through a new case, so I looked up some info online.

This very helpful video on YouTube, from the channel JustDoItYourself, enabled me to take out the center console, or storage console, as the title suggests. I was impressed with how simple and direct the instruction is.
