Chess: another great resource
The tutor shares one of his recent finds.
I was looking around for chess games to study, when I came upon chessgames.com. As its name implies, it’s a fantastic resource to students of chess.
You can search the database by player, by opening, or even other criteria. Each search has rewarded me with a plethora of games to choose. After choosing one, the user can control the pace using the “forward” button. For instance, they can wait between moves to study what might be the purpose of the one that just happened. If needed, they can go back a few moves for something missed.
In coming posts I’ll discuss some of my favourite players to study. Until then, enjoy the site!
