Lifestyle: blending coffee
Self-tutoring about blending coffee: the tutor shares a couple of observations.
I drink a lot of coffee, and definitely know what I like.
Sometimes I blend coffees, but not usually. How do I decide whether to blend two coffees?
Let’s say I have two coffees, A and B, both of which I really like. I won’t blend them: in my experience, they might flatten each other out, so the blend will be less appealing than either A or B.
Let’s say I have two coffees, one medium and one dark. If the dark one is very dark, I will likely blend it with the medium. Medium coffee typically has a punch which can liven up a dark one.
I will buy medium coffee that I won’t drink just by itself, but to blend with dark. Similarly, I will buy very dark ones, not to drink straight, but to blend with medium ones.
