English: soundscape
Tutoring English, discoveries continue. The tutor mentions soundscape.
In yesterday’s post I mention how a varied thrush’s song dominated the soundscape.
At the time of writing, I was seeking a word and tried soundscape, unaware it actually is a word. To my surprise, the spellchecker let it go, so I used it.
I have since looked up soundscape, and it can mean the sounds occurring around you, but can also be analyzed in a more complex way. I’ll be following up:)
