Gardening: last day of frost in Campbell River
Self-tutoring about gardening: the tutor mentions an idea he recalls from childhood.
I grew up around farming, but not here; rather, in the Maritimes.
In spring, planters had to consider when their plants would be safe from frost. The date I recall was May 21.
Just from curiosity, today I looked up Campbell River’s date of last frost: May 10.
I plan to follow up.
