Canadian geography: Ontario and Quebec: electricity source comparison, part 0
Self-tutoring about electricity generation in Quebec and Ontario: the tutor begins.
As I mention in my post from July 17, Quebec and Ontario are first and second, respectively, among Canadian provinces in electricity generating capacity, with Quebec about 14% above Ontario (2018).
Interesting, neither province relies much on fossil fuels to generate electricity. In Ontario, non-burning sources account for around 96% of its generating capacity; in Quebec, 99% of capacity is emissionless.
Interesting, eh? I’ll continue:)
