In my previous post I begin about electricity generation in Nova Scotia. Now I continue, mentioning its electricity generation from tides.
The highest tides in the world happen at the Bay of Fundy, between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Perhaps not surprisingly, according to the source I’ve read, the only electricity generation from tides in North America is there, at the the Annapolis Tidal Station. Its capacity is 20MW.
