Philosophy: what you don’t worry about….

Self-tutoring about philosophy: the tutor asks a question.

In boxing, my coaches always said it’s the punch you don’t see that will hurt you. I’ve heard Mike Tyson say something related: that to knock someone out, you have to make it so they can’t see the punch coming. Could that be true about life as well?

People spend so many hours worrying, myself included…what if it’s what we can’t anticipate that will (potentially) get us, anyway? Then, there’s no use worrying, since we don’t know what to worry about.

In my life, I’ve seen many who worry, and many who just don’t. The non-worriers seem to have incredible staying power. Perhaps they used to be worriers, but have evolved past it.
