Health: can caffeine promote DNA repair?

Self-tutoring about health: the tutor mentions a discovery about caffeine.

My readers likely know that I’m a coffee drinker. Therefore, it was with pleasure that I read this article from the Jerusalem Post suggesting that caffeine can promote DNA repair at the cellular level.

My understanding is that caffeine can activate AMPK, an enzyme that promotes energy production as well as cellular resilience and DNA repair.

I hope to provide further insight about AMPK in a follow-up.
