Bird watching: the junco who lost its tail, continued
Self-tutoring about birds: the tutor follows up about a recovering junco.
In my posts here and here I discover and revisit an Oregon dark-eyed junco, at first missing its tail, that visited me. By the second post, it had recovered some of its tail, happily. Notably, said junco never seemed disadvantaged. It flitted about just like any other small bird, apparently cheerful.
Yesterday I saw said bird again, this time with obvious tail feathers – at least two distinct ones. While not yet to full length, they seem on their way to it. As usual, the bird flitted about, seemingly unaware of any inconvenience:)
