Autos: Black Creek Motors
Self-tutoring about used car purchase: the tutor relates an occasion.
We had a 2007 Jeep Liberty which we all loved. However, it got munched in an accident last October. My son was driving; he got t-boned at an intersection. God be praised, nobody was hurt. However, the Jeep was written off.
My son was out of a daily driver. He made it work, one way or another, until after his Christmas exams were over. Finally, on Christmas Eve, we started looking around, online, for cars. Next, on Christmas night, I got the flu, bad. I wasn’t well enough to go car shopping until New Year’s Eve. However, we had all agreed that we had to replace the Jeep before the January term began. Therefore, on the morning of New Year’s Eve, my wife and I set out.
We’d been driving by, and noticing, Black Creek Motors for months. My wife and son had done some looking, but not there. We had seen some prospects on the Black Creek Motors website, so decided to head there first.
We arrived at Black Creek Motors, then sat in our car for a few minutes, looking over the cars for sale. Next, we got out and started inspecting ones we might be interested in.
After a while, other prospective buyers were walking around the lot. I wondered if we were hoping for too much, that one could buy a car on New Year’s Eve. My wife called the number for Black Creek Motors from the lot. She was told Dustin would be there soon.
Dustin appeared shortly, and started helping customers, us included. My wife settled on a 2013 Jeep Patriot North, which we test-drove and she loved. I had ideas about other cars on the lot; Dustin seemed to as well. However, my wife’s mind was made up.
As I recall, we bought the 2013 Jeep Patriot that day, New Year’s Eve, 2024. It’s my son’s daily driver; he loves it, as does my wife. As time goes by, I’m happier and happier with it.
Going out car shopping on New Year’s Eve, I wasn’t sure finding one would be easy. Yet, it turned out to be, with Dustin at Black Creek Motors. If I had to buy another car, I’d try there first.
