Autos: oil filter coming loose?
Self-tutoring about autos: the tutor mentions a surprise.
I watch the ground where my family members park their vehicles: I look for spots that signal leaks. The other day, out of the blue, I saw a spot.
Examining the spot, I found it to be engine oil. The only source I could imagine was that the oil filter had come loose. I reached in, took hold of the filter, and discovered it indeed was loose. I tightened it perhaps a third of a turn.
I’ve never heard of an oil filter coming loose, so decided to look it up. Apparently, it does happen.
Interesting, eh?
