Autos: YouTube help: You Wrench
Self-tutoring about auto maintenance: the tutor shares a great resource.
For a recent brake job my wife and I performed, You Wrench, on YouTube, was key. The calm, detailed, matter-of-fact commentary, combined with the fact that it’s about the same model as we were fixing, made the video as helpful as one could hope.
The video description mentions related ones that one will likely want to consult while doing the job – how to detach the e-brake cable, then how to re-attach it, for instance.
You Wrench has become a favourite of mine not just for specific repair instructions, but for top-down knowledge about fixing cars and how they work, when I can find a video therein which applies.
