Brexit: good, bad, or neither?
Self-tutoring about international business: the tutor looks at some numbers since Brexit.
While it’s perhaps easy to find people who bemoan Brexit, some quick numbers might suggest it wasn’t all bad.
If one looks at the gdp per capita growth, 2020 to 2024, cumulative, of Germany, Italy, France, and the UK, one might realize something like this: Germany: 5%; Italy: 16%; France: 11%; and UK, 12%.
By way of comparison, Canada’s cumulative gdp growth, 2020-2024, seems to have been about 5%.
Although there are people on either side of every situation, it appears Brexit might not have been so bad, after all.
