Canadian politics: Quebec Solidaire
Self-tutoring about Canadian politics: the tutor mentions the political party Quebec Solidaire.
The following is according to my understanding.
Quebec Solidaire is a provincial political party in Quebec. They seem sovereigntist, but wanting to tackle Quebec’s big problems first, then hold a referendum afterwards.
Quebec Solidaire tends to believe in taking on big challenges publicly, such as housing, health care, and the cost of living, and would do so by raising taxes on corporations.
Presently, Quebec Solidaire holds 12 seats out of the 125 of the provincial assembly in Quebec.
