Excel: getting rid of ######### after inserting a column
The tutor suggests a possible way to get rid of ######## in cells after inserting a column in Excel.
Sometimes, after you shift content by inserting a column at the left, you might find some cells become filled with ##########. It happens to me when I add a column at the very left to create more space. In such a case, when I select a cell that shows #########, its former value is revealed, but just isn’t showing in the cell.
I find that selecting the cells with ########, then reformatting them as before, fixes the problem: they once again show their values.
