Self-tutoring about web search strategy: the tutor gives his number 0 idea.

My experience is that, typically, the information I need is on the Web – but where? Some information is surprisingly hard (for me) to find. Why? I didn’t ask the right question.

My experience is that the best indicator of success is that your search topic appears in the suggestions as you type it. If not, then you may not have asked the “right question.”

It’s helpful to know how other people would search for the same topic; for me, that’ not always easy. However, I’ve learned to keep trying until a search suggestion appears that’s likely what I mean.
