Lifestyle: bulletin boards: how to hide ie8 conditional comments
The tutor thanks a bulletin board for a solution.
I love throwing out questions to the internet and following the leads. Often the answers turn up on bulletin boards.
Recently I had a conditional comment that, although performing properly, was showing up in the browser. Searching for a fix, I came upon advice at stackoverflow.com. To conceal the comment, a space might be needed between ie and 8:
<!–[if lte ie8]>comment<![endif]–> this might show up
<!–[if lte ie 8]>comment<![endif]–> hopefully this will be hidden
