Lifestyle: New Year’s Eve reflection

Self-tutoring about lifestyle: the tutor notices a trend from 2018.

I do make a New Year’s resolution. This year’s, I plan to share in a coming post. For now, I want to mention a trend I’ve observed during 2018.

I key a search topic slowly, watching if the browser anticipates my query. As 2018 has progressed, my searches have often been listed before I finish typing — often, right near the top.

To me, such is a sign that I’m connecting better with other people. Asking the same questions as they do, must mean I think like them. Of course, one big challenge in life, possibly even the most important, is figuring out which questions to ask.

I’ve welcomed the trend, because life typically is a lot easier when you’re aligned more or less with generally held ideas. I look forward to the trend continuing through 2019.
