Metric system: what is a hectare?
Tutoring math, metric units come up. The tutor mentions hectare.
A hectare is a unit of area, 10 000m2. An easy way to think of it is 100m by 100m.
For perspective, a tennis court is about 24m long, baseline to baseline.
