Mobile phones: Push messages
Self-tutoring about mobile phones: the tutor mentions push messages.
In my message app settings I discovered the setting “Push messages,” which is on. What are Push messages?
Apparently, Push messages are ones that pop up from an app you’re not using, to tell you something is happening. For instance, if someone texts you but you’re in a phone call, a message might show across the top of the screen that a text is coming in and who sent it. The phone I use does this, whereas my older one, I don’t think did.
That’s how I understand Push messages.
