Web programming: .net Webforms

Self-tutoring about .net Webforms: the tutor makes an observation.

An important idea to know about, in my opinion, is that, with .net Webform applications, commented-out elements on the webform can still cause errors. In other words, you might have elements safely between <!‐‐ and ‐‐> and yet they result in errors. Yes, that’s possible. I don’t know if it happens with ordinary html elements, but to my recollection, it does happen with asp elements. While they’re commented out, they’re not necessarily gone.
