Electronics, engineering: conductive pens
Self-tutoring about electronics: the tutor mentions a product he’s noticed.
A conductive pen, as I understand it, can draw a connection between two leads because its ink is conductive, containing silver or some other conductor.
You can easily imagine the quick-fixes that could be improvised with such a device. They can be quite reasonably priced, as well.
