Geography: Null Island
Self-tutoring about geography: the tutor mentions Null Island.
The point 0°N, 0°W is in the Atlantic Ocean: specifically, in the Gulf of Guinea, Africa. It’s around 700 km south of Ghana.
A buoy is at the location; there is no land there. “Null” can mean “nothing,” so the name “Null Island” rather ironically suggests it doesn’t exist.
Null Island has gained interest nonetheless; someone has even designated a flag to it.
