Health: Walnuts: cure for brain fog?

Self-tutoring about health: the tutor mentions a possible advantage of walnuts.

Perhaps around two months ago I began a low-fat vegan diet for health reasons. From what I can tell, it’s delivered, I’m happy to say. However, I was experiencing brain fog for awhile.

From my general reading I have the idea that Omega-3 fatty acids seem connected with brain function. I wondered if somehow I was missing Omega-3s from my new diet. Finding out that walnuts seem to be a good source of Omega-3s, I started having a few walnuts every day or so. The brain fog went away.
