Autos: jacking points, 2013 Jeep Patriot

Self-tutoring about jacking points on a car: the tutor mentions a great resource.

I started taking care of a 2013 Jeep Patriot about a year ago: see the post here about how that car arrived. Since then, I’ve changed its oil a couple of times, along with some other maintenance.

Last week I checked the brakes and rotated the tires. To do so requires jacking up the car. However, before doing so, a few jacking points need to be known: possibly scissor jack point (if using one of those), else floor jack point, and then jackstand point in any case.

This great video by Greg Shulz on YouTube I found very helpful to understand the jacking locations.
