Business: greenwashing
Self-tutoring about modern business words: the tutor mentions greenwashing.
I arrived at the term “greenwashing” wondering its meaning. I had an idea about it, but had to check.
“Greenwashing,” apparently, is when an organization pretends to care for the environment in order to gain popularity. However, said organization’s motive is popularity rather than environmental improvement.
