Comp Sci: PHP: exponent operator

Self-tutoring about PHP: the tutor mentions its exponent operator.

In PHP, 32 is 3**2. This seems to work unless the base is negative. For instance, 2.6**2.9 and 10**(-2/3) will come out correctly, but (-8)**(1/3) won’t, in my experience.
