Email: reindexing

Self-tutoring about email: the tutor mentions a solution he found.

Like (one might assume) many people, I have numerous email accounts that use numerous email clients. About a year ago, one started not being able to find certain emails in search. The emails still could be found in the inbox, if one knew where to look among many pages. At the time, I found workarounds, then forgot about it.

Today I revisited the situation. The email client itself suggested reindexing the emails, so I did. It seems to have worked.
