Generations: doughnuts w/o coffee

Self-tutoring about the generation today, and how it’s different from ones before.

Yesterday I was invited to a nice send-off, where some very tasty doughnuts were served. I can’t eat doughnuts, of course, but thought of coffee. In the 80s, I can’t recall people serving doughnuts without serving coffee.

Times have changed, however, and I was pretty sure there would be no coffee served with the doughnuts. I was correct. After about five minutes I left the party and returned to my work.
