My computer is complaining that the C drive will soon go. Up to me, I wouldn’t use Windows, but my wife likes it; I’ll admit it’s good in some ways. However, when your C (booting) drive is going down on a Windows computer, it’s more of a problem than with Linux, from my point of view.

Since Windows is proprietary, etc., one realizes one might need the product key to reinstall on a new C drive. I started looking in the box the computer came in, then for a decal on the PC itself. Having no results, I turned to the Internet, and found this very helpful video.

In my case I didn’t run cmd as an administrator, and it still worked.
