Home computer use, Windows: fine-tuning search in File Explorer by date

Self-tutoring about (Windows) File Explorer: the tutor mentions searching by date.

Let’s imagine, in File Explorer, one is searching a directory with a lot of files that go back many years – the Downloads file, for instance. One might wonder, for example, if a certain program came from a download, and when.

Well, it seems one can fine-tune search, by date, in File Explorer. One key seems to be the datemodified parameter. As an example, the search datemodified:<=15/09/2022 seems to select items from September 15, 2022, and before. One can, apparently, restrict the search to only as far back as August 30, 2022, as follows:

datemodified:<=15/09/2022 >=30/08/2022

Neat, eh?
