Mechanics: yogurt containers

Self-tutoring about modifications: the tutor mentions one to the homemade lifters.

I mention in my post here about some lifters I improvised for vehicles. Trouble was, two people were needed: one to guide while the other drove onto them. Otherwise, the vehicle might drive straight over them.

A fix to this turned out to be small yogurt containers. I stacked four, one inside the next, for each lifter, then taped them with duct tape to the top row of the lifter.

Now, when one reaches the top level of the lifters, one can hear the “crunch” of the yogurt containers. Therefore, with the window down, a lone driver can ascend the lifters and know when to stop.
