Metals: silver price relative to gold price
Self-tutoring about gold and silver: the tutor looks at the long-term relationship between the price of silver and that of gold.
(Silver price)/(gold price) has ranged from around 1/15 to around 1/115 over the last 100 years. In the price spike of 1979-82, the ratio was between 1/15 and 1/53. Right now it seems to be around 1/60.
