Drawing software: GIMP: how to make graph paper (on the screen)
Self-tutoring about GIMP: the tutor mentions how you can make a grid background with it.
Across the top of GIMP, you’ll find a tab that says Filters. Clicking that, go down and select Render. In there, select Pattern. Finally, in there, select Grid. You’ll get a pop-up menu that asks how big you want the squares, what color you want the lines, and so on.
