Web browsers: Firefox: an observation
Self-tutoring about home computer use: the tutor mentions a possible shortcut.
I’ve noticed that, when I shut down my past-due Linux computer without closing Firefox first, it seems I get Firefox back, as it was, when I turn the computer on again. Sometimes it’s still even signed in to the email I was using, for instance.
I’ve come to wonder if a lazy person who isn’t worried about security would shut down without closing the browser first, to skip the step of retrieving everything on Firefox when they turn the computer back on.
There may be more to this, but it’s my day-to-day observation.
