Self-tutoring about trade: the tutor mentions a couple of statistics about Europe.
Preparing to weather a storm of trade challenge, people in Canada have mentioned internal trade barriers – that is, between provinces. The fact that we have any, between our own provinces within Canada, might be disappointing.
Yet, Europe may also face a problem of internal trade complications. It seems that, internally, its effective trade barrier might be somewhat like a forty-five percent tariff on manufactured goods, while a one hundred percent tariff on services.
