Coffee: instant vs brewed, part 2

Self-tutoring about coffee: the tutor continues from yesterday.

Where I live right now, making brewed coffee is a hassle. Yesterday, I picked up some instant coffee from the drugstore. It was on sale, at about half price: obviously a sign.

Back in my room, I twisted off the lid, then peeled the foil seal from around the top of the jar. It smelled like coffee, all right. Out in the main kitchen, I put the kettle on.

If my regular brewed coffee is an A, I’d give this instant coffee a C+. However, in my situation, I have to live with it – literally.
