French: le conditionnel
Tutoring French, verb forms are important. The tutor mentions the conditional form in French.
In French, the conditional form designates an event that would happen if something else happens or is in play.
If it was sunny, I would walk.
The conditional tense is used for what would happen.
S’il faisait beau, je marcherais.
For regular verbs, the conditional is formed by adding the imparfait ending to the infinitive, or, in the case of regular -re verbs, to the infinitive without the final -e.
