The tutor tells how to accomplish text rotation with LibreOffice Calc.

Here’s how:

1. Type the text in a cell.
2. With that cell selected, go to the top and click the Format heading.
3. In the drop-down menu, click Cells…
4. You’ll see a tool that allows you to set the rotation (orientation).
5. Important: Under the Degrees box are choices for Reference edge. In my experience, you need to select the third choice, which is the plain rectangle, to keep the rotated text inside its cell.
