Amphibians: green frog, part 2
Self-tutoring about frogs one might encounter in Canada: the tutor mentions the green frog.
I first mention the green frog in my post here. However, I’ve a couple of other observations and/or reflections about them.
Apparently, green frogs have been introduced to the southern BC coast. Therefore, one might encounter them out this way; I believe I’ve heard them out here.
It seems green frogs make a bassy sound almost like a “clang;” it’s been compared to a banjo. Apparently, it’s often just a single call, which is what I’ve heard, wondering what it was. I’ve heard it near permanent water, which is the green frog’s habitat.
