Home computer use: Windows terminal: the color command
The tutor points out a fun feature of Windows terminal.
Windows terminal – aka, Command Prompt – is the black screen the user can access from Start→All Programs→Accessories. It’s white text on a black background.
Interestingly, you can change the colors of both the text and the background. For instance, the command
color f9
causes blue text on a white background. The command
help color
shows the color choices, 0 through f. The first color is the background; the second is the text. Another example: the command
color 65
gives purple text on a yellow background.
Have fun:)
